Thanks to all of you guys going out there and voting, The Method will compete for the right to open for Blues Traveler! We’ll be in a Battle of the Bands with three other groups on Saturday, May 9 @ Continental in Rosslyn. If we win, we’ll open for Blues Traveler (oh yeah…and Naughty By Nature!) on June 5 in Fairfax, VA.

…to everyone who came out to The Rock and Roll Hotel to celebrate the release of “Boulevard Sessions EP.” We thought the show was a huge success, thanks to the unbelievable support from the crowd. You guys were the best audience we’ve ever played for. If you came to the show, we hope you enjoy the CD. If not, you can stream all four tracks off the EP by clicking on the “Hear Us” tab. We promise to make these tunes downloadable soon.

The key now is to build off the momentum of the show, the EP, and our recent article in The Washingtonian. We’re exploring opportunities to play in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York City. We hope the next few months will see the band traveling up and down the East Coast making new fans along the way.
